Padmé wears this gown at the Celebration Parade at the end of Episode I.  The simple white dress is a symbol for the peace brought about by the defeat of the Trade Federation, and is adorned only with Naboo symbols down the front of the dress.  The cape is lined with many silk petals made to resemble large flowers grown near Padme’s home village, flowers that bloom only once every 88 years.  The parasol-like collar/fan behind the dress symbolizes the past, ancient royal fashion representing continuity among those of Naboo.  Finally, her headdress is a delicate vintage latticework design made with multi-faceted jewels suspended from silver chains.
