Queen Amidala wears this majestic gown in her address to the Galactic Senate, pleading for an investigation into and an end to the Trade Federation invasion of Naboo. The gown consists of a thick red velvet embossed with rosettes on the body of the gown, and thick, golden, triple-braided trim on the sleeve cuffs and collar; an under-dress of orange/gold shot silk taffeta with a green weave; and enhancements provided by antique beaded lace pieces.  The ornate headdress consists of Padme’s hair bound tight and decorated with golden hair bands, with highly decorated pieces at the bottom tips of her hair and intricate golden suspenas bordering her face, and adorned with the Royal Sovereign of Naboo medal.
